While banner advertising is not something I use 100% if the time to build my list it is a tool that you should always have handy if the right place comes around to plug them in. They are great for use on your blogs and web pages, but sometimes there are programs that come around that it's nice to have your own banner ad to plug in.
This is something that really is essential to online success. Using banner ads may not be the first thing you teach someone on your team but it is definitely something you will want to have in your arsenal. There are some desktop banner creators you can get that are not that expensive. I got mine for less than $50. If you are not ready to take that leap with banner advertising there are some great places online to create banner ads yourself for free. My favorite place for that is http://www.bannerbreak.com To show you how simple it is to do here are some examples of three that I have made within about 20 min...so it's not that hard.

5 of Mark Yarnell's Success Secrets
Mark Yarnell is a best selling author and success coach and mentor in the home based business industry. He has some great motivational writing. Here are some great tips.
5 of Mark Yarnell's Success Secrets
1. Turn off your TV, computer, cell phone and text messaging and spend 2 hours a day talking to real people, either in person or through a land line.
2. Make a five-year commitment to your company and never look at any other deal. Consider all other Networking opportunities a waste of your time at this point.
3. Begin reading one non-fiction bestseller each month in any field of your own personal interest.
4. Get out of all meaningless business relationships with those who drag you down with negativity or sociopathic behavior.
5. Do not attend any more rah! rah! meetings IF you're 100% convinced that they are a waste of your time and money. Spend your time recruiting and retailing.
Take a listen to what Mark Yarnell has to say. He's quite inspiring:

Review Of The New Plug Into Prospects System
The Plug Into Prospects system entered pre-launch phase June 14, 2010. With the launch coming in 3 days. The Plug Into Prospects system is an online prospecting system that is perfect for any home based business owner. It is a generic system so it can be used for any home business opportunity and is a great funded proposal focused around generating prospects for your primary business.
Plug Into Prospects offers quite a few perks. I'll start with the focus most marketers want to know about. Compensation. The system offers a well rounded plan. The income you generate does depend on your membership level though. Free members do not have the ability to generate the income that paid members do. There are three ways to get paid.
1. 2 X 12 Forced Matrix (no sponsoring required to get paid)
2. Platinum Leaders Bonus Pool
3. $4 For Each Personally Sponsored Member
There are other perks to the system as well. Plug Into Prospects offers the ability for you to earn what are called Adpoints within the system. Both free and paid members can use these points to advertise your own business within the system. You can receive these points for logging into the system, viewing and/or participating in advertisements within the system and referring new members. This is a great option to advertise your own business or opportunity.
There are a couple of things about Plug Into Prospects that make it easier for leaders to use. My favorite is something you rarely find in a funded proposal system. The ability to plug your own auto responder code into your capture pages AND your own video, audio or picture. Whatever you currently use for your capture pages. This really allows you to continue to build your list and brand yourself online while partnering with a system. You can use up to 6 capture pages as well.
There are some functions in the system already working. The adcredit functions are coming in each day. However, there are some functions that are now available until the system launches such as the capture page features. In the meantime you may want to use your own splash page to promote it as you should do with any system. Never stop list building! All in all it looks like a great system that focuses on prospect generation which is what any online marketer focuses on. It gives you the ability to learn and earn with one on one training.

How To Use Safelist Marketing Effectively
To utilize safelist marketing you, the marketer must go and join. You do that so you can market your services or products to other members. In return these marketers do the same to you. Some might think it is not a terrific audience since basically they are all trying to sell one another on something. Here's where it's essential to think. You NEVER market your primary business inside a safelist...honestly never ever. You should attract members to your primary business by building a relationship with them. You have to remember no one wants to be sold! That is the abolute bottom line! Never forget that. A safelist is an excellent place to locate other marketers or people who have the same interests as yourself. They could find some of the tools, training and/or systems which you use effective for their businesses. You must go into safelist marketing with that in mind. You may utilize safelist marketing for a few of things. You are able to market your front end products for example a funded proposal that you're using or even offer a give away for visiting your blog and placing a comment on a one of your recent posts.
When you are doing any type of marketing online including safelist marketing you need to know who your audience is. Using a safelist your audience will be so many people similar to you. They're marketing their business or service. You want to market something designed to benefit that target audience. Get creative and you'll see some amazing results. Does it make a bit more sense now?
If you try to build your own list for the first time, a safelist is a fantastic way to start. Offering free marketing tips to members is an effective way to get them in your opt in list. You then build a relationship with those members and in time you will be able to market within that list and will probably be successful at it. Do not expect to go into a safelist though and produce massive profits right away. You need to know to be aware of who you are marketing to though and utilize it successfully.
Safelist advertising is usually useful particularly because it's free of charge. This can make it great for brand new marketers who do not have a marketing budget yet. Nonetheless, it is important to remember that since it is a no cost service for you to use safelist marketing can often be incredibly time consuming. To gain credits to mail other members in the safelist you may receive many emails. You might want to set aside so much time whether daily or weekly to open those emails to receive credits. You want to make sure you limit your time though. Some will say otherwise but I don't believe safelist marketing can replace all other types of marketing. Set aside a couple of hours weekly so that you can click for credits then go on to do other forms of advertising. Don't get caught up in clicking emails all day.
If you want to begin using safelist marketing listed here are some of my favorite picks:
List Joe Click Here
Adsolutionline Click Here
Adtactics Click Here
The List Auction Click Here
State Of The Art Mailer Click Here
In case you do not have a funded proposal to utilize for your primary business or need a front end product to try in your marketing you can visit my website and learn a little more details about the system I am using now in my safelist marketing.

Work-At-Home Parents, Why Not You?

I just love this poem by Steve Maraboli, and I think it speaks to all of us as we strive to find success in our home and business lives. Enjoy...
Today, many will awaken with a fresh sense of inspiration. Why not you?
Today, many will open their eyes to the beauty that surrounds them. Why not you?
Today, many will choose to leave the ghost of yesterday behind and seize the immeasurable power of today. Why not you?
Today, many will break through the barriers of the past by looking at the blessings of the present. Why not you?
Today, for many the burden of self doubt and insecurity will be lifted by the security and confidence of empowerment. Why not you?
Today, many will rise above their believed limitations and make contact with their powerful innate strength. Why not you?
Today, many will choose to live in such a manner that they will be a positive role model for their children. Why not you?
Today, many will choose to free themselves from the personal imprisonment of their bad habits. Why not you?
Today, many will choose to live free of conditions and rules governing their own happiness. Why not you?
Today, many will find abundance in simplicity. Why not you?
Today, many will be confronted by difficult moral choices and they will choose to do what is right instead of what is beneficial. Why not you?
Today, many will decide to no longer sit back with a victim mentality, but to take charge of their lives and make positive changes. Why not you?
Today, many will take the action necessary to make a difference. Why not you?
Today, many will make the commitment to be a better mother, father, son, daughter, student, teacher, worker, boss, brother, sister, & so much more. Why not you?
Today is a new day!
Many will seize this day.
Many will live it to the fullest.
Why Not You?

Setting Up Your Own Domain Name
We are going to shift 100% of our focus on steps you must take to set up your own online prescience and brand yourself as an expert online. If you have done some of these steps already then you can skip ahead. Please do not skip any of these steps. There is not one more important than the other so it's very important you complete all 6 steps. One will not work without the other.
The first step is to set up your own domain name. You may already have several domain names but it is important that you have a domain containing your own name. If you have a common name you may need to tweak it a bit because that domain may already be taken.
Here is an example. I have:
http://www.KarenPore.com
If you have a common name here are some alternatives.
www.WhoIsYourName.com
www.YourNameOnline.com
www.LearnWithYourName.com
It's just important that your name be in the domain. This will be the first step in creating your own online presence. When someone types your name into Google to find out who you are it's very likely if done correctly this domain is what will pop up first. It's ok to use other domain names for systems that you may be using but having your own domain name including your name will help personalize what you prospect will see. If you have never purchased or set up a domain before it's very low cost. Usually it's about $11 max. I use Go Daddy or Pow Web myself but you can purchase the domain name wherever it's most convenient for you.
If you have never set up your own domain name here is a video to help guide you through the process.
If you have trouble viewing the video you can watch it directly here
